The new aleno Widget 2.0 makes it easier for your guests to book online in your restaurant. You can integrate the aleno Widget 2.0 on your website in different ways.
The easiest way is to put a link on your website. When your guests click on the link, the widget opens in a new tab and takes online reservations.
Furthermore, define what is to be displayed in the aleno widget, e.g. display only certain days or shifts, and hence, so that your guests can book online only for these.

Different ways to intergrate the aleno Widget v2.0 on your website
To integrate the aleno widget v2.0 on your website, you need your individual link. You can find this link in aleno in the menu --> Settings --> Widget Preview/Integration:
Basic link (opens widget in new tab): Use the basic link to integrate the aleno widget on any website. The aleno widget then opens in a new tab. No. 1 (see picture above) shows you where to find the basic link in aleno.
Embedded widget (Modal, iFrame): In only two steps you can embed the widget in your website.
- Insert the basic link (No. 1 in the picture above) as described above in your website.
Detailed settings: You can manually add parameters to the link if you want restrict online reservations to certain days and/or shifts shifts. Add ?& and then the respective parameters at the end of the lint, e.g. https://mytools.aleno.me/reservations/v2.0/key?&shifts=LUNCH,DINNER. In this example, only the layers LUNCH and DINNER are displayed in the widget.
The following parameters are available:
|shifts||Use this parameter to display specific shifts in the widget. Online reservations will be allowed for the displayed shifts only.||You have several shifts, but you want to accept online reservations for certain shifts only.||
(online reservations onyl for times and days of the shifts LUNCH and DINNER)
|date||Use this parameter to display a specific day in the widget.||You want to promote an event on a specific day.|| ?&date=yyyy-mm-dd
?&date=2018-12-31(Display and accept online reservations for 31.12.2018 only)
|alenoWidgetKey||Desired Widget is loaded directly with opening the page. Only works together with alenoWidget=open||You own multiple restaurants and want to open different widgets with alenoWidget=open f.e. via Google My Business||&alenoWidget=open&alenoWidgetKey=|
